The year 2016 held a lot of surprises for the twins. Their short film Morbus Per Noctem was completed in December of 2015 and started going to festivals early 2016. Amongst all the festivals, one of them, the Independent Horror Movie Awards, rewarded the Melcores' film with a handful of prizes.
